Description
The 1957 Continental Blend Ground Coffee Backstory
The Nairobi Coffee and Tea Company has over one hundred years of history selecting and buying the finest quality coffee from around the world. High quality coffee is only half the story, for the true testament to taste resides in how those coffees are blended to create flavours and aromas that delight the palate and please the senses.
With over a century of recorded blending recipes, we felt inspired to look back at some of our most celebrated coffees. We chose 1957 as it marks the beginning of a new era of prosperity in Europe. Rising from the devastation of two brutal wars, leaders sought a lasting peace built on partnership, prosperity, and shared purpose. Their vision became reality in March of that year when the Treaty of Rome was signed at the Palazzo dei Conservatori on Capitoline Hill, one of the most historic and storied sites in the Eternal City.
The 1957 Continental Blend is a coffee crafted from exceptional heritage coffees sourced from some of the world’s most sought after farms. This highly confidential recipe, known only to a select few, has been enjoyed by generations of people who love their coffee.
We invite you to savour the splendour of the Continental Blend and enjoy the quiet majesty of its aroma and graceful taste.
