The Nairobi Coffee and Tea Company has over one hundred years of history selecting and buying the finest quality coffee beans from around the world. High quality beans are only half the story, the true testament to taste resides in how those beans are blended to create flavours and aromas that delight the palate and please the senses.

With over a century of recorded blending recipes, we felt inspired to look back at some of our most celebrated coffees.  We chose 1957 as it marks the beginning of a new era of prosperity in Europe. Rising from the devastation of two brutal wars, leaders sought a lasting peace built on partnership, prosperity and shared purpose. Their vision became reality in March of that year when the Treaty of Rome was signed at the Palazzo dei Conservatori on Capitoline Hill, one of the most historic and storied sites in the Eternal City. It was here that the foundations of the European Union were laid.

The 1957 Continental Blend is a coffee crafted from exceptional beans sourced from some of the world’s most sought-after coffee farms.
